found

hidden in my hard drive. some fun i had a few years ago experimenting with compositional analysis of some artworks. the strange things we do in architecture school. asides from the obvious mondrian, i can't quite remember who the rest of works are from.

radiohead

i'll drown my beliefs
to have you be in peace
i'll dress like your niece
and wash your swollen feet

just don't leave
don't leave

i'm not living
i'm just killing time
your tiny hands
your crazy kitten smile

just don't leave
don't leave

and true love waits
in haunted attics
and true love lives
on lollipops and crisps

just don't leave
don't leave

a memo before bed

things happen for a reason.

and each and every person that we have met, no matter how brief the encounter, is by no means mere coincidences nor insignificant. we just don't know it (the reason) yet.

when the time is right, reason will lead its way.

it
falls
in
place

and the comedy is in life's tragedy :)

ps. almodovar. all about my mother. best giler. my heart breaks.

not a waste of time, but a lot of time wasted

to learn,
is by observing
not by listening

probably the best shot of the scheme
but as max have said:
it is (clearly) not your best

the semester is a mess by the way

sadly, or should i say strangely ...
our studio - the only one without ideological agendas
ended up being the best studio of the bunch

the exhibition was good
but the work across the studios is dry
where is the depth?
what are we/they trying to say?
the ideas are either weak or poorly developed, and without conviction or clarity
you almost don't see individuality in most schemes anymore

the reason is perhaps simple :
most people do not have personal agendas anymore
their lives are controlled and planned out
but they have no control over their minds
they have no vision -
and that makes them ripe for indoctrination

or maybe i am just being excessively cynical
that nothing impresses me anymore
but at least i know that my views are not achi-centric

i guess it's not bad

and here are the work by all of factory-one:

p.s.

in architecture
the "concept" is simply rhetorical ammunition
there is no such thing as totality of theoretical basis
to quote woody allen, it's just"mental masturbation"

unravel is about the placelessness of the process.
regardless of where the product originated:
a set of points and parameters, or if it simply came from folding paper ...

the product is what it is.
it unravels
not from within a rigour of just one idea,
but rather drawn from many parallel ones
neither having primacy over the other
