the righteous, the follower, the pragmatist
the follower
owns a brain
but knows not it can think
it loves ideals and utopias and truism
but knows no philosophy
in constant need
to be led
by the righteous:
how we love them,
the righteous.
enslaved by the metaphysics
how tragic life writes itself
when it dies not realizing
that for the righteous
truism,
despite its heroic glory;
merely a rule to rule;
contingent to the most primitive human need

the righteous.
