....................................................................................................

yesterday i was lucky enough to be invited to the first rehearsal for an upcoming movie. definitely a very interesting experience for curious freaks like me. (haha...) i think it gave me some sense of the process. like how the simple act of rehearsing a script could paint a clearer picture; of what may work and what may not. a place where experimentation and ideas roam uninhibited. and laughters aplenty.

questions remain: how will it progress from here on? how much of it will be retained? what is it about, and does it matter?

one can't help but feel a little overwhelmed by all the information, within such short time frame. ms director thought i might be "bored out of your wits". LOL! but I wouldn't have missed it, really in fact i probably overstayed my welcome. the crew were a motley, friendly bunch. the main actresses are cute, and (as i'd expected anyway) intelligent. nani is, sigh... and bryan's not bad either, though he looked a tad nervous among the rest of the crew. heck, i would be!

not that the crew knows who i am or reads this, but i'd like to say thanks for making my day!

*cough* YES, I happen to know smoko equals to 'cigg break,' i just wonder if there's more to it than just that.

u are hell lucky.

the closest of me being on a set was when they shot a campbell soup commercial next door to my house.

i seriously thought at first they were having a kenduri or bbq party because of the tent set up

sean: i dwell in a lot of pointless things. haha

pink: whoops. it's flatters me that you're projecting imagination from the photograph, but i'm afraid there's nothing more to it.

kish: campbell! i like their soup can. yeah i guess i was lucky, and yasmin ahmad is pretty nice.

hopper: perfect ka? i think i held back somewhat, it definitely could be better. but thanks! hehe.

LOL. In college, smoko used to mean theme party. Dude, don't tell me you're smoking now? *tsk tsk*

On the other hand, sounds like a good experience, especially since you're such a movie critic.

shairazi: we've met? where, in sydney? actually i don't remember ...

aida: lol. that's funny. one of my colleagues thought i look like someone who smokes. and recently i dreamt i tried smoking, ciggie backwards and all ...

but no i've never actually smoked, although it's sorta tempting. and i know you'll grind me.
