over three weeks past merdeka, this is a little overdue. but have you seen the pertonas ad 'percintaan tan hong ming' ? best merdeka ad i've seen so far, along with the rest of them and those cute school children.

my fav merdeka ad. definitely. cute. undeniably. romantic. reminds me of my 'sepet' affair with a taiko with blue greyish hair back in 2002.
it's really simple. and it worked.
certainly worked better than the sampan ad ( which is not bad, but - in my opinion - just a little bit contrived)
