towards minimalism

it's silly and superficial, but looking at these make me happy. the shift towards a more minimal aesthetic signifies a new phase in my life. coincidence it may just be, but i sense a synergy of parts, an alignment of all the different aspects of my life. these are just clothes that i've acquired from the past few months, but like the work i do and the photographs i take and the things i write and speak of, i'd like to think that these too give essence to my individuality.

Funny, I find that I'm starting to get into the greys as well. Maybe it's an age thing?
pink : apa? haha. i'm vain.
sean: it's funny you should mention zen. my firm is all about zen and minimalism.
aida: haha. hope it wasn't my influence. almost everything i bought last year was grey.
was also thinking it might be the AGE thing. as much as i love colors, these days i'd rather have just a splash of em among a more monochromatic palette. it's a composition thing, and it probably takes a while to develop
Cool! Looks like we both agree one one thing: Black and white are the classic colours...
At least, it looks like you agree...
Nice choice of clothes, if I may say so...

Oh, greys are so IN SEASON right now. Maybe it's my aversion to anything 'trendy' but I'm starting to move away from my usual blacks-and-greys by adding whites... and reds! What do you think... Tash as the "Lady In Red"? :)

LOL. you totally have style. i DARE you to try on a sack.
oh btw, i got a place in Perak. somewhere in Never-EVER Land. Hmm.
daphne: yes they are classic. but it's trickky to dress in monochrome. tone and texture and detail comes to play.
sean: i'm generally indecisive, true enough. but not when it comes to work, i tend to know what i want. haha.
can you believe i do not own a suit?
pudtz: not in malaysia probably. anyway i don't think it's about trend at all, but a composition thing.
i'm not an attention seeker, but i certainly do not look the part of a typical malay dude. haha
pudtz, try yellow. not the mustard kind, but a softer almost-pastel tone color
pink: ahh, UiTM melaka? do you want to study in UiTM?
sack?! (as in a shapeless 'dress'?) i dare not!
not, uitm perak.
and HERH! chicken! setan boy would probably agree with me on this; If you have style, FLAUNT it! (that's how we btches do it) hahahaha. He's addictive.
faiz, i cant dress in bright colors. it hurts my brain. almost everything i have is either black, brown, gray, and black. and i too do not have a suit. this place is just to hot for one.
