trying out new things

i got a haircut last weekend. in lieu of my posting diarrhea in past weeks i might as well just write about it. tread with caution, tis a vain post.

finally found a place that i'm comfortable with. it's nearby home, and the service is good. you know how you always feel like they're trying to rip you off? this place isn't like that at all.

surprised the fella who cut my hair remembers my name. i was only there once before. suspect it might've been because of what i said "do whatever you want. but i'd like something a little funky". hence the green-ish hawk.

we were talking about trying on new things. so he gave a more unusual haircut this time. it felt a little strange at first. i usually cover up my massive forehead with whatever little hair i have, but benny buzzed everything off beyond the frontline. haha.

but i do like the do. maintenance free. woke up today and took a picture with my phone, just for the sake of it. i look pretty healthy there. somehow i look really young in my newer shots. ha ha.

it's only a haircut. but is it really just so? i ain't hiding behind the hair anymore. know what i'm saying?
