this is what i really want:

black asymmetrical plastic frames. unfortunately, i don't believe they're selling these just yet.
these are great as well:

classic-ly rectangular, just as i like em. they fit brilliantly. logic would conclude that this is the perfect pair for me. i'd be the new wave le corbusier.
but i got these instead:

there's something about them that's rather unusual. plastic frames usually look rather bulky and heavy, but these frames are very crisp-looking in real life. the sides taper to a prominent triangular shape.
i've never looked nerdier.

the other day we were forced to watch some documentary on mies van de rohe's god is in the details-related concept and i noticed all the interviewed architects wore this geeky frames like a silly fad or something. i laughed at it so much. but now i think i'm more shocked that you're actually wearing it!
