excerpt
the excerpt below reveals, i suppose, the mode of thinking of me as an architecture student. in which, if you read between the lines, isn't far different from how i approach everything else. i've never seen it as an academic exercise. it is more of a personal thing, a passion that stems from the passion for life itself. as opposed to being consumed with whatever you're doing, be it 'architecture', 'thermodynamics', 'photography' etc. i've edited it heavily, so that it is more close to how i intend it to be presented, as opposed to just accomodating to the assessment criterias. but hey, sometimes you just have to strive for the best possible marks. hahah.
hm. i realise that maybe being a student makes you unecessarily cynical. because you're just forced to see everything through a critical eye. being indifferent is often misunderstood with havng nothing to say. i'd love to say "fuck off, i don't have an opinion on everything!" but anyway one opinion i currently have is that IT IS TOO COLD!! Is it really November?!

I think it's a little too bombastic and architectonic for me to digest, so I'm leaving this to all the other experts (paging Kish!). Hehe. I don't know you well enough but from your posts I sense that you're zealous at what you're doing. You breathe architecture. And pretty good at it too.

hey flutterby, u paged the wrong person. hehe. im the opposite of faiz, in a hundred thousand ways. while he breathes architecture and sinks into it, i drown. i have yet to learn how to appreciate, understand and love it. i am in a forced relationship. i am passionately cynical though, inwards, but indifferent outwards. that is to avoid unnecessary verbal duels with others.
Summer is a sham. :(

like you, i am pretty much indifferent to others. it's better to be content with who you are, rather than trying too hard to convince others. we're really no different.
