it's been well over 28 months since i landed myself in melbourne. even as i took these just days ago, i could not believe how lucky i was. five years ago, i would have never thought this was even possible. i had no such dreams.
and then my paradigm changed. and now i am here.
to think that so many people have wasted this opportunity is appaling. and to think that a university education simply meant doing whatever people tell you, for the sake of passing, is just as unfathomable. hopefully what one brings back home is more than just a set of information (which was never ours to claim anyway), but also a wiser state of mind.

And AWESOME photos! I love the muted colours... that's exactly how I perceive winter. Everything seems muted, subtler, duller. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's not still beautiful, just a different kind of beauty.

hey hey!! i have so not been lomo-ing, hence the absence at the lomo site. plus am too lazy to scan all those pix in and then uploading, etc. but have something coming up that would require heavy use of my lca, so...we'll see.
i recently tried my hand on the nikon d70. i fell in lurv!!! unfortunately a bit out of my budget at the moment. hopefully will get it by year-end.

pao pao: everyone writes differently my dear... there are things that i wanted to write on, but i couldn't because i don't know how to. takes a bit of time and practice maybe... we are so going to rock melbourne later this month!
ash: if you don't want your lc-a, you can always donate to me. haha, we've missed your presence. but it's okay, i've kinda moved on from lomography too, until i got my fisheye. and i've noticed your flickr and the D-70 shots.... for a while then i thought you bought that beautiful beast!
